Reading Cricket Club, as an affiliated member of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) through the Berkshire Cricket Board, is committed to ensuring that all young people who play cricket have a safe and positive experience. To this end Reading Cricket Club has adopted the ECB's 'Safe Hands - Welfare of Young People in Cricket Policy' and is committed to complying with best practice that may from time to time be issued by the ECB. The club is committed to ensuring that best practice is followed in all matters relating to young people. To this end the cricket club is committed to ensuring a duty of care to all members of the club by adopting and implementing the ECB Cricket Equity Policy and any future versions of the Policy.
